Prayer
Prayer is essential to spiritual health and growth in our Christian walk. GHCC has a vibrant and committed team of prayer warriors and intecessors who continuously pray for the family, our church, our community, our nation, and the world.
Community Outreach
Hosting several events throughout the year designed to reach the lost and offer hope to the down-trodden, every member of GHCC is a part of the Community Outreach ministry. New members will participate in a 12-week course of study, Real-Life Discipleship, in preparation for purposeful discipleship through the outreach ministry.
Sunday school-Empowerment
Sunday school-Empowerment, ls offered to all ages, from 3-100+ years of age, each Sunday at 9:00 a.m. 3 regular ongoing classes available, Men of Hope, Women of Hope, Children of Hope. 3 specialty classes offered on a rotating basis: Hope in Til' Death do Us Part (for Married Couples), Hope for my Finances and Real-life Discipleship for New Members.
Youth
“I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.” 3 John 1:4 (NKJV). It is our desire to let the youth at GHCC know that they matter and provide them with a place where they are welcomed, heard and accepted into a spiritual family that will not judge them. We respond to the social and spiritual needs of our youth by providing fun programs, activities, and events that allow them to express their faith through their own words and actions. We also encourage them to use their individual talents in the programs and ministries that interest them in an effort to nurture their growth as people of faith, so that they may follow the example of Christ.
Music & Worship Arts
The music is one of the first things people notice when they attend a church service. The style, the instruments and the choice of songs exert great influence over the congregation. Such an important part of the worship service is not randomly arranged each week, but is the work of a devoted music ministry in the congregation. GHCC is actively seeking true worship leaders and musicians, called by God, to lead ministry in song. 'Til Death Do Us Part Couples
Building marriages on faith, hope, love and prayer, GHCC celebrates the sanctity of marriages by strengthening the bond between husband, wife and God. This ministry seeks to help couples understand God's sovereign plan for marriage, the roles of spouses within the marriage, and the wonderful blessing marriage can be when both spouses are obedient to God’s Word. Couples who participate in this ministry enjoy a quarterly date night and an annual couples retreat.
